Galatians 3:6

Paul points to Abraham as the example of true faith. Long before the Law was given, Abraham was declared righteous because he believed God's promise. His life demonstrates that righteousness is not earned by good works or religious observance but is credited by God through faith. Like Abraham, all who trust in God's promises through Jesus Christ are counted righteous before Him by faith alone.
