As we start our new series called "JESUS DIDN'T SAY THAT"- we see that our culture tells us to "follow your heart," but Jesus gave a very different invitation: "Follow Me." The heart can be influenced by emotions, desires, and changing circumstances, but Christ is the unchanging source of truth. Following Jesus often means trusting Him even when our feelings pull us in another direction. Real peace, purpose, and fulfillment are found not by chasing every desire of our hearts, but by surrendering our hearts to the One who created them. The question isn't, "What does my heart want?" but "Where is Jesus leading me?"
