Galatians 5:17

Galatians 5:17 teaches that every believer experiences an ongoing conflict between the desires of the flesh and the leading of the Holy Spirit. The flesh represents our sinful nature, while the Spirit leads us to live according to God's will. This spiritual battle is a normal part of the Christian life, but believers are not left to fight alone. As we depend on the Holy Spirit, obey God's Word, and grow in faith, we are empowered to overcome sinful desires and live in a way that honors Christ.
