In Ephesians 1, Paul teaches that believers have been adopted into God’s family through Jesus Christ. Adoption means that God intentionally chose us, loved us, and welcomed us as His own children—not because of our achievements, but because of His grace. Through Christ, we receive a new identity, a secure place in God’s family, and the privilege of calling Him Father. Being adopted by God reminds us that we are loved, accepted, and given an eternal inheritance as sons and daughters of the King.
