Galatians 3:27 teaches that everyone who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ has a new identity. To be "clothed with Christ" means that believers are united with Him and are called to reflect His character, righteousness, and way of life. Baptism is an outward expression of this inward transformation, symbolizing that our old life has passed away and we now belong to Christ. Our identity is no longer defined by our past, achievements, or failures, but by our relationship with Jesus.
