This prayer focuses on Jesus’ call to “watch and pray” in the Garden of Gethsemane, highlighting the tension between a willing spirit and a weak flesh. It challenges believers to move beyond spiritual passivity and live with intentional awareness, recognizing God’s presence and opportunities in everyday moments. By staying spiritually awake, we are able to see others with compassion, respond in love, and walk more fully in the life God has for us.
