This project was born out of the concern of a young man's heart. He heard God speak, he listened, and then he acted.  His desire was to give back in a small way to people that are hurting during the most special time of year.  Waylon Berger's story is special, unique, Spirit-led, and truly a miracle story of redemption.  Join Waylon this year, and watch lives be changed by the love of God.  

Waylon's story is not only compelling, but inspiring to say the least.  Waylon was homeless with his family for many years living under a bridge in Cherokee County north of Atlanta.  With his mom, sister, and brother they did what they had to do to survive. By God's grace the family was led to Goshen Home for foster kids. All three kids got into foster care, and made a life for themselves. Waylon is now a firefighter in Cherokee County, and looking at ways he can give back!  

Right now we are asking for SCARVES, WARM HATS, BLANKETS, COATS, GLOVES, SOCKS, and HAND WARMERS. We are also asking for $10-$15 gift cards to get a meal or coffee. The response has been incredible!  So if you want to jump in you can bring these items to one of our church services, or make a monetary donation.
