READING SCRIPTURE IS CRITICAL

When Jesus was in the desert He told Satan, "Man cannot live on bread alone, but every word that comes out of the mouth of God." Taking time to read, reflect, and absorb God's Word is life-giving and will sustain us like nothing else.  Let's start reading and reflecting together.

1.  COMMIT

Commit!  That's right you have to commit.  Block out this time during the day, and be dedicated to it!

2.  QUIET

Find a quiet space.  It will need to be a place where there are no distractions.  You need to be fully focused on what is before you.

3.  LISTEN

Listen.  This is not always easy, but after you read, we know it is then time to pray and listen.  This might be the hardest part of all.
