4. What Is The Penalty For Sin?

Paul uses a word everybody understands:

Wages.

Wages are what you earn.

You work, and eventually there's a paycheck.

Paul says sin also has a paycheck.

Death.

That includes physical death, but the deeper issue is separation from the God who is the source of life.
