Sometimes you look around at the world and think, Was this really what God intended?

War. Cancer. Broken families. Addiction. Loneliness. Anxiety. Children suffering. People hurting each other.

And then there are the things happening in our own lives. Maybe your marriage didn't turn out like you imagined. Maybe someone you trusted betrayed you. Maybe you lost someone you loved. Maybe you're successful on the outside but still feel empty inside.

The Bible begins with something incredibly important: this isn't how the story started.
