5. Where Is God In This Brokeness?

When life hurts, sometimes the first question isn't theological.

It's personal.

“God, where are You?”

Maybe you've prayed and nothing changed.

Maybe someone died.

Maybe your family fell apart.

Maybe you're carrying something nobody else knows about.

And when you're hurting, someone saying, “Everything happens for a reason,” usually doesn't help very much.

The Bible gives us something better.

It tells us God draws near to the brokenhearted.
