"Know Your Limits"

“Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'"  Matthew 19:26

We’ve all faced moments where our strength, wisdom, or resources simply weren’t enough. Whether it’s a health battle, financial strain, relationship brokenness, or a personal struggle; our limitations remind us of how limited we truly are.

But here’s the good news: faith is the bridge that connects our weakness to God’s strength, our limits to His limitless power. Faith isn’t about pretending we don’t have limits. It’s about acknowledging them and then trusting that God doesn’t share them.

God does not call us to blind belief but to bold faith in His character and promises. When we step out in faith, we’re not trusting in better circumstances, we're trusting in a God that is not bound but able to do “immeasurably more” and one who is unshaken by what shakes us.

Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly worked through people who had glaring limits:
* Moses stuttered.
* Gideon was terrified.
* David was too young.
* Paul had a thorn in his flesh.

Yet, in every case, it wasn’t about their ability but their availability through faith.
Where in your life are you hitting a wall of limitation? This week, name one area where you’ve been leaning on your own strength and instead, entrust it to God in prayer. Write it down. Surrender it daily. Let that act of faith become the bridge God walks across to show you His power.

Lord, I admit my limits. I can’t do it all, fix it all, or see it all. But I believe You can. Strengthen my faith to trust You where I cannot see. Be strong where I am weak. And may my limitations become the stage where Your limitless power is revealed. In Jesus mighty name, Amen!
