Is that true?
I find myself asking that question daily. A news report, a social media post, an image, a headline. Something makes me pause and ask, “Is that true?” As the Artificial Intelligence platform grows so should our desire to discern truth. Absolute truth! Unchanging, universal, and objective truth.
When we blindly believe what is in front of us we are at risk of trusting our ever changing emotions and blind spots in our life. The enemy navigates through deception, doubt, diversion and will permeate any and all areas of our life. Before we know it we are at war within ourselves and our spirit is full of angst and hopelessness.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” John 14:6-7
When my spirit becomes anxious and I find myself asking, “Is that true?” I go to the unchanging, universal, and absolute truth of God! In that absolute truth is where we find peace and rest for our weary and worn souls.
Just something to think about on this Monday morning!
